Thank you Bro. Bobby. I know how good it feels to be accepted by my church and even loved there with all my flaws and sin. And how much more so to know that Jesus loved me enough to die for my wretched self. If I can remind myself of this daily, and be reminded (as your blog does), I can love and accept others too. God has given me help in this. My best friend is Asian, my financial planner is Indian and my church is more color-full all the time. God is the same towards us all. You are so right that we should implement God's culture and not man's cultures. I believe you follow this and it works.

God Bless you,
Kim

As children of God, if we would each let the love of Jesus Christ so fill our hearts and minds, everyone would be accepting to changes and to new peoples whether red, yellow, black, or white - and no one would see color when they look at people... they would only see a child of God.

Remember the song most all of us sang in Sunday School as we grew up?

(one of the verses went like this)

Red and Yellow Black and White,
they are precious in HIS sight,
Jesus loves the little children of this world.

We sang it then, but do we not believe what it says now... today - for our church? - for America?

We welcome changes and new people for our church family and pray in our hearts that we always welcome everyone in Jesus' precious name.

Working with people of a wide variety of cultures is a blessing to me. To see that no matter how you were raised or what cultural situation you may be living in or what part of the world you were raised. We all have the same need. We all have the same condition. We all have the same need and that puts it mildly. We have a desperation for the Savior. We all sin, we all fall short. If we can see ourselves and realize that we aren't any better than anyone else and humble ourselves before our G-d and king we can see what Brother Bobby is saying. We can be a community of followers from every tribe, tongue, and nation that Jesus wants us to be.
Thank you Brother Bobby and Shalom,
Ken

Bro. Bobby,

Sounds like you have several thoughts and plans in your head. I can't wait to see what they are and how they will help our church. You have the best interest of the church at heart. Wonderful things will happen in following and obey the will of God.

Let me know when Maine becomes an option. How wonderful for us to see that America still needs to be reached? We are losing ground as a Christian nation and something has to be done.

Bro. Bobby,

It never ceases to amaze me how God brings his people together with the same vision - at the same time, to work together for his purpose. I know that Town East is growing and changing and that there are going to be "mission fields" that open up right here that we haven't even dreamed of!

As you know, missions have long been on my heart and I so enjoyed being able to be part of the "mission church" on the beach in Corpus and I loved so much my music and Single Parent/Absent Parent Ministry in Berryville. My heart is in music and my heart is for the women and children who have gone through what my children and I have gone through - with God's help. There are a whole group of our population, one that grows larger every day, that sometimes get overlooked in the "traditional" church. If I have learned anything in the past 15 years, it is that our world is changing rapidly and what we used to consider a "normal" family or a "traditional" church, just isn't so any many. Just take a step outside of the "Bible Belt" and you will see! I'm have been blessed to be able to use the music as an avenue to reach out to that group that sometimes gets overlooked.

What I am trying to say is the doctors say I may have only another five years at the most. I don't want to waste any time! I sing a song that says "Lead me Lord, I'll Follow - Anywhere you Open up the Door." I've spent the last several years doing just that, and I don't plan on quitting now.
